They recently unraveled an ISIS cell in Minneapolis that was Somalis. Not sure how you can say that. Also, are we only to take into account terrir acts in the US or is it cheating to consider the origins of terrorists committing acts of terrors in other countries as well? You think they just threw darts at a map?

Fuck outta here Jamesy

I'm going off of what they define as countries of particular concern
"Sec. 3. Suspension of Issuance of Visas and Other Immigration Benefits to Nationals of Countries of Particular Concern."

the cnn article states "The order bars all people hailing from Iraq, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen. Those countries were named in a 2016 law concerning immigration visas as "countries of concern.""

Two things funny about this.
1. a 2016 law would have been passed by Obama, rofl, so unless Trump was in cahoots with Obama in passing that law, Obama is the one people should be directing their anger at
2. based on the actual list, if they're going to include Iraq and Syria and Somalia, they should be talking about Vietnam, Egypt, Pakistan since they were recommended, sources: http://www.uscirf.gov/, https://www.state.gov/j/drl/irf/c13003.htm

'The U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) released its 2016 Annual Report on May 2, 2016. In the report, USCIRF recommends that the State Department add these eight countries to its list of “countries of particular concern,” defined under law as countries where particularly severe violations of religious freedom are tolerated or perpetrated: Central African Republic, Egypt, Iraq, Nigeria, Pakistan, Syria, Tajikistan, and Vietnam.

USCIRF also recommends that the following nine countries be re-designated as “countries of particular concern,” or CPCs: Burma, China, Eritrea, Iran, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.

In addition, USCIRF also recommends ten countries as Tier 2 Countries, those countries whose governments engages in or tolerates at least one of the elements of the "systematic, ongoing, and egregious" standard, but do not fully meet the CPC standard: Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Cuba, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Laos, Malaysia, Russia, and Turkey. Other Countries Monitored include: Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belarus, Horn of Africa, Kyrgyzstan, Western Europe'

Q: What are the currently designated CPCs?

A: On February 29, 2016, Burma, China, Eritrea, Iran, North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Sudan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan were re-designated as CPCs. Tajikistan was also designated as a CPC.

you're right, it's not an anti-muslim ban, but you're wrong about Trump making the list

Muslim crisis in europe has nothing to do with immigration policy, and everything with how they absorbed immigrants; melting pot vs mixed salad.

europe's muslim crisis doesnt even have to do with newly landed immigrants, but first and second generation brits, frenchies, germans, etc, whose parents immigrated.

this isnt a good thing and will likely cause more terrorism.

america is already ahead of it because immigrants to america are encouraged to salute the flag and make it their own.

to think that these actions will actually stop terrorism, or even lessen it, is just uninformed and stupid. These actions will bring about a much bigger wave of it. Get ready.

The brown people are gonna start blowing a lot of shit up. Also, with america's lax gun laws, fully expect mass shootings much like the Paris attack.

So far, the US has been virtually unscathed by radical islamic extremism (post 9-11, who werent the internal enemy, but foreigners). Actions like these alienate and leave feelings of persecution against people who never thought to commit acts of violence againsttheir fellow citizens.

Anyone thinking that these actions are smart, are in for a rude awakening.
