Opening Day cancelled. Fuck my life.

I was looking at over/unders for the Yankees this season. I saw the number was 82. That number is too low. I think this team is about a 87 win team. They wont win 90, but they will win more than 85.

holy shit, the yankees are fucking joke this year.

I want to see some of this young talent you posted up top. Nothing worse than seeing a year where you can't compete with overpaid "superstars" composing most of your line up. Parade out the young guys. Show me what the NY yankees future looks like when all of these stupid contracts run out and hopefully Cashman and Girardi are fired so we can start off a new chapter in Yankees baseball

Headley is garbage. Can't hit or field. I want to like Gregorious but he just makes me miss Derek Jeter always. Ellsbury and Gardner are both too streaky to be a good one two combo. A-Rod, Texeira and Beltran are all old and past their prime. They swing heavy bats these days. Our bench is awful. Not a single decent hitter, besides maybe Torreyse (sp?) to bring off the bench. Starting pitching has been shaky as shit and our bullpen looks already fatigued as it has been used entirely too much.

The only bright spots are Castro (love that guy), a decent catching battery of McCann and Romine, Tanaka looks solid and the back end up of our bullpen with Betances and Miller is basically unstoppable as long as David Ortiz isn't at the plate. the additions of Aroldis Chapman is going to be minimally helpful if this team can't score runs and keep games close tho

Just wrapped up the final innings of last nights game. Was nice seeing the Yanks push across some runs (mostly because of A-Rod), but I agree, Judge apparently is tearing up the minors again. Need to get young and compete. Interesting stat which caught my attention, Yankees have been shifted on in the last X years 800 more times than the next team knowing that all we have is old guys who pull the ball.

It's nice to see them get back to winning again. 3 of their last 4 feels like some decent momentum. I like that our starters have been doing their job. This team looks so much better when they get quality starts and we aren't having the bullpen bail our rotation out in the 5th or 6th inning.

I'd definitely like to see more of this Tyler Wade. Gregorious is a downright awful shortstop in the field at times even though his bat his looked a lot better this year

no consistency in the rotation at all. Only Tanaka has basically been solid all year long

I keep hearing this idiotic "are the Yankees buyers or sellers before the trade deadline debate?" lmao, wtf

they're obviously a .500 baseball team at best. Therefore, they're sellers. Dump CC Sabathia, Carlos Beltran, Mark Texiera and Andrew Miller before their contracts all expire and you get nothing for them. Anyone who thinks this team is going to the playoffs this year is out of their right fucking mind

Trade those guys to teams still playing for something. Get young talent in return. Bring up our current AAA guys to see what we have in the minors and evaluate our talent pool before the season closes. The front office should have plenty to talk about in the winter meetings

I do love Aroldis Chapman and we basically got him for next to nothing so I hope they don't move him. I also like Betances because he's a hometown guy so I hope they don't move him.

As much as I have enjoyed Gardner over the years, they could probably move him too. His game is entirely predicated on speed and as it gets older and slows down, he's going to be a liability, not an asset
