serious question: let's say when Mueller's investigation is complete (probably going to take til early 2019 if not later) is there anything Trump can be found guilty of that would actually put him in prison or is it all moot, since he can pardon himself?

Trump can't be tried in a court of law unless articles of impeachment are passed by the House via simple majority, then convicted in the Senate by 2/3rds. Highly unlikely. Doubtful Cheetoface can legally pardon himself. Doubt even SCOTUS would allow such a depravity of justice. Regardless, he becomes eligible for federal indictments the moment the new President is sworn in. Either by election, or his cabinet invoking the 25th amendment.

George W. Bush, Dick Cheney, Donald Rumsfeld, et al, should all be arraigned on a laundry list of felony level offenses, and possibly sending them to the Hague to be tried for war crimes.
I wouldn't mind the same happening to Barack Obama, for his industrialization of Bush's illegal drone program.
